About me

After completing a foundation degree in Multimedia, I have gained experience in working in various areas of new media including film, print and the web. The opportunity to experience these diverse subject areas has allowed me to discover what I am most passionate about – interactive web design.

 

To develop my interest and existing abilities, I am currently studying for a BSc in Web Technology. This course will allow me to develop modern and dynamic websites and applications for the web. Whilst studying for this degree, I will learn new techniques and methods which will allow me to be more flexible in what I can do.

 

The skills which I gained previously from Multimedia compliment those which I am learning and developing with Web Technology. I am able to provide high quality, standards compliant websites. As time goes on and I learn even more both as a result of self-guided study and tuition as part of my new degree, I hope to be able to build more complex web applications which will combine all my skills.

 

Whilst working on both degrees, I have gained many contacts that I am able to collaborate with should a project require it. These people have gone on to develop their own interests and skills and are able to provide expertise in their chosen field. I am building this network of skilled people who I work with because together, we have a very broad range of experiences and skills.

 

The examples of work on here show the variety of projects which I have worked on. I am currently working on several other projects which will appear on this website in the near future.
